Mohammad Parhizkar
I am a Ph.D. student and teaching assistant at the University of Geneva in Centre Universitaire d'Informatique (CUI) - Institute of Services Science under the direction of Prof. Giovanna Di Marzo Serugendo. I obtained my M.Sc. in Information Systems from the University of Lausanne in 2014, with a bachelor's degree in computer science. My recent research activities mainly focused on programming self-organizing systems and swarm robotics.
The principal aim of my Ph.D. project "Higher-order Emergence in Collective AI Systems from Computational Model of Dictyostelium discoideum to Swarm Robotics" is to model and simulate the first-order and the second-order collective behaviors of Dictyostelium discoideum.
