Olivier Scaillet nominated Programme Chair for the European Economic Association - Econometric Society European Meeting 2024

Professor Olivier Scaillet has been nominated Programme Chair Econometrics and Empirical Economics for the European Economic Association - Econometric Society European Meeting 2024.

This annual European congress is jointly organized by the Econometric Society, an international society for the advancement of economic theory in relation to statistics and mathematics founded in 1930, and the European Economic Association (EEA), an international scientific body that promotes the development of economic science throughout Europe.

The Econometric Society publishes three top-tier journals: Econometrica, Quantitative Economics, and Theoretical Economics. The EEA publishes the Journal of the European Economic Association (JEEA), which has a worldwide reputation for publishing articles of the highest scientific quality in theoretical and empirical economics.
