Software
Note that Lispstat itself is no longer developed (Luke Tierney has joined the R Core team), however it still runs without
any problem on most machines. ViSta however continues to be developed.
If you are interested in Lisp and statistics you might want to have a look at the
Incanter project.
XLISP-Stat (Luke Tierney) is open source, available for most platforms. It is based on XLISP, a public domain LISP
It provides an object oriented programming environment for data analysis and interactive graphics. It offers highly interactive objects and methods for statistics,
linked graphical objects and is easily extensible (see below Vista, Arc etc).

Software also available in French and Spanish.

- ARC (formerly known as R-Code) by Cook and Weisberg,
backing two excellent books on regression,
An introduction to Regression Graphics (1994) and ,
Applied Regression Including Computing and Graphics (1999),
both of them based on extended
teaching experience. Appendix A of Applied Regression Including Computing and Graphics has a short introduction to Arc; it is freely available
on the Wiley booksite: Appendix A
- Axis by Robert Stine.
Point-and-click, iconic interface to Lisp-Stat. Menus and dialogs provide access to additional statistical analysis routines. Additional information in the Stine book (Sage 1996) [see references]
