Maria Tudor is pursuing a Master of Research in Neurosciences at the University of Geneva, focusing on Reinforcement Learning modeling of the human brain's learning mechanisms. She holds an interdisciplinary bachelor's degree from University College London, where she integrated classes in Mathematics, Engineering, and Management. Her research interests lie at the intersection of technology, human behavior and cognition, and sustainability. Relevant projects include the applications of behavioral science in purpose-driven companies to foster sustainable consumer behaviors, or using Natural Language Processing to map philanthropic activities to the SDGs in the Swiss nonprofit ecosystem, project undertaken alongside Lucia Gomez. Concerning AI and Philanthropy, she is interested in their overarching joint role to advance research and industry applications of the previously mentioned fields. Currently, she serves as a research assistant for the AI and Philanthropy project.
