Mara De Monte has close to 20 years of professional experience in multicultural settings, advising on corporate social responsibility, innovation, international development, and impact evaluation across a range of social issues. She has in-depth knowledge and experience of the philanthropic sector in which she has been active as consultant or donor advisor for more than a decade, providing bespoke support to (U)HNWIs and grant-making foundations.

Until July 2019 she was Senior Philanthropy Advisor at the private bank Lombard Odier, facilitating the bank’s and its clients' philanthropic engagements. She previously worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Milan, London and Mumbai and later at Dalberg Advisors in New York and Geneva.

Mara is also a founding member and president of the board of Mission Zero Academy (MiZA), spin-off of Zero Waste Europe, supporting zero waste strategies and circular economy implementation bottom-up across Europe. Mara holds an MBA from the Columbia Business School. She received her Master in Management of International Institutions from the Bocconi University.
