Two doctoral (PhD) positions (70%, 4 years), with flexible starting date between September and December 2024 

The successful applicants will work with Prof. Dr. Evie Vergauwe on a research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), and study working memory in young adults and children.

Desired profile:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or a related discipline
  • Experience with experimental psychology research in young adults and/or children
  • Background in cognitive psychology and/or cognitive developmental psychology
  • Very good research methods knowledge and skills
  • Interest in pursuing an academic career
  • Very good command of English (written and oral)
  • Basic knowledge of French, or willingness to learn some basic French
  • Willingness to travel (for conferences and/or international collaborations)
  • Team spirit, and strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Programming skills (e.g., R, Psychopy) will be considered an advantage
