National agreement "Read & Publish" with Elsevier

A “Read & Publish” consortium license with the publisher Elsevier was signed by swissuniversities for a period of 4 years (2020-2023). This consortium license is the result of lengthy negotiations initiated in 2018, as part of the Swiss national strategy on Open Access.

Elsevier  thus joins the publishers with whom the UNIGE Library had already concluded agreements for the development of open science.

What's new? This kind of licence covers both the consultation of articles from the publisher's journals (Read) and Open Access publication (Publish) for researchers from UNIGE and HUG in the same journals as defined in the negotiation objectives set by swissuniversities.
