Objective : To understand how scientific "performances" are evaluated and the limits of their use.To know which indicators are commonly used.

Bibliometric indicators (h-index, impact factor…) are commonly used to evaluate research “production”.
During the next Rendez-vous de l’info of the UNIGE Library, discover the calculation methods, the applications and the limitations of these indicators.
Audience: Researchers, academic teachers, PhD students, Post-doc researchers, UNIGE collaborators.
Prerequisites : None.
Format :
- 1h30 long practical workshop. (15 participants/session)
- Takes place in our training lab with PC's. Participants can bring their own laptop
- In english if needed
