As part of its scientific missions, the Centre Jean Piaget organises an interdisciplinary seminar where specialists are invited to address, from the perspective of their respective disciplines, a question relating to the topics of Piaget’s work. The rule of the game is that each speaker should put the contemporary approach of his or her discipline or speciality into perspective with that developed by Piaget, in order to underline the common points and differences. The range of disciplines goes from psychology to neuropsychology and psychiatry, as well as educational sciences, neurosciences, philosophy or theology.

The goal of the seminar is to provide students with a deeper insight into the work of one of the greatest scientific personalities of the University of Geneva, Jean Piaget, while making them reflect on a key question of contemporary psychology through an interdisciplinary approach.

The bibliography of the seminar, in addition to Piaget’s publication around which the seminar is organized, consists of a text proposed by each of the lecturers.

Seminars are in French.
