Webinar: Comparative and Regional Practices in Child Abduction
Background Note
The Children’s Rights Academy (CRA) of the University of Geneva offers an Online Executive Training, a new approach of this kind, on Civil Aspects of International Child Protection (ICPT). After a successful first edition 2023-2024, ICPT second round is occurring 2024-2025, November to April.
In the framework of this training, actual themes are assessed through modular interventions and interactive sessions. Due to the technicalities and complexity of specific subjects, the CRA’s team decided to provide a series of special webinars, free of charge, addressing child protection selected topics.
In July 2024, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the CRA co-hosted a first joint Webinar “Unveiling Research and Best Practices to End Child Trafficking”.
This second Webinar is the result of an enhanced cooperation between the CRA, IOM and the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law (SICL) stemmed from ICPT.
