During the conference, we will examine important and urgent topics that impact children’s well-being, their future as well as their rights (environment, justice system, child protection, biotechnological advances, adolescent's radicalization, etc.). Most sessions will be accompanied by English-French simultaneous translation.

Children and young people have led the development of the format and the content of this session, and will be the facilitators and speakers. They have decided on different stories to present which will give an insight into the ‘state of child rights’ today which they will then have a discussion about, concluding with some key messages about children’s rights after 30 years of the CRC.

Selected States representatives, UN agencies, the Committee on the Rights of the Child and civil society representatives will share their pledges and messages for the future of children’s rights.
