Cyrielle Chappuis
Behavioural research manager for a Swiss startup
I am a manager in behavioural research, currently working for a Swiss startup in AI technology. As part of my job, I specialise in leveraging behavioural markers in voice, face, speech and gestures in self-presentation videos (such as video resumes) to automatically evaluate interpersonal skills (ex. friendliness).
My time at CISA imparted me with a solid ground of knowledge and experience.
This position is a natural continuation of my PhD, which was on first impression formation and voice. One of the main differences with academic research is that I work on client projects, and collaborate extensively with technical and non-technical teams to complete those.
The doctoral school was particularly beneficial for a broad understanding of many facets of the affective sciences.
My time at CISA imparted me with a solid ground of knowledge and experience, first thanks to the colleagues I had the chance to exchange with through many events as well as informally; Second because it gave me a broad understanding of many facets of the affective sciences, which the doctoral school was particularly beneficial for.
