La transmission d’informations émotionnelles à travers les canaux auditifs et vibratoires est essentielle dans l’interaction sociale et permet la représentation de l’émotion d’autrui impactant, Hic et Nunc, sur la relation. Les mécanismes cérébraux impliqués dans la production et la perception d’émotions vocales et auditives sont au centre de mes recherches.

The transmission of emotional information through auditory and vibratory channels is essential in social interaction and allows the representation of the emotion of others impacting, Hic et Nunc, on the relationship. The brain mechanisms involved in the production and perception of vocal and auditory emotions are the focus of my research.

« Body and Soul » ballet de Crystal Pite

« Body and Soul » est une œuvre de ballet contemporain de Crystal Pite, danseuse et chorégraphe canadienne, proposant au spectateur une série de tableaux composés de duos et de groupes interagissant dans une forme reprise par un narratif vocal décliné sur différents modes locutoires. Ainsi une voix, Marina Hands, narre les mouvements produits par les dans.eurs.euses comme dans l’exemple suivant : « Figure1 est étendue au sol. Figure 2 fait les cent pas : gauche droite gauche droite gauche. Droite gauche droite gauche droite. Ses mains bougent sans cesse : touchant son menton, son front, sa poitrine (gauche droite gauche droite gauche) son cou, sa bouche, sa hanche ... » en modifiant à chaque reprise sa prosodie, ses intonations vocales, donnant ainsi à interpréter les mouvements et enchaînements similaires des interprètes, mais teintés eux aussi d’une émotion non verbale, de manière tout à fait différente tout au long de la pièce passant ainsi d’un duo à la fragilité nostalgique, à la joie, à la hargne, à un groupe tonitruant ou blessé.

"Body and Soul" is a contemporary ballet work by Canadian dancer and choreographer Crystal Pite, offering the spectator a series of scenes composed of duets and groups interacting in a form taken up by a vocal narrative declined on different locutionary modes. Thus a voice, Marina Hands, narrates the movements produced by the dancers as in the following example: "Figure 1 is lying on the floor. Figure 2 is pacing: left right left right left. Right left right left right. His hands move ceaselessly: touching his chin, his forehead, his chest (left right left right left) his neck, his mouth, his hip ... " by modifying with each resumption his prosody, his vocal intonations, thus giving to interpret the similar movements and sequences of the interpreters, but tinged them also of a non verbal emotion, in a completely different way throughout the piece passing thus from a duet to the nostalgic fragility, to the joy, to the hargne, to a thundering or wounded group.
