Healthy Ageing
New €7m EC-funded project is investigating the determinants of mental health & well-being in the ageing population of Europe
The University of Geneva is a partner in this project.
As humans are living longer, the question arises as to how we can promote health and well-being in elderly.
Together with our colleagues from the Silver Santé Study https://silversantestudy.eu/ we are investigating new ways to promote mental health and well-being in the ageing population through mental training. In this endeavor, a particular focus is on the role of emotions, their malleability and their underlying brain function.
