Are we all equal when it comes to HIV?
The role of the civil society in global health issues
The access to health should be granted to everyone no matter the social identity, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status. We know however that this is not the case in the real world. Civil society plays an important role in influencing health policy and filling in where governments fall short of ensuring this fundamental right.
The University of Geneva will welcome, on Wednesday February 15 at 12:30 at Uni Mail, a discussion between students of AESPRI, the Venezuelan human rights activist and recipient of the 2023 Martin Ennals Award, Feliciano Reyna, and Prof. Alexandra Calmy, Head of the HIV Unit in the Department of Infectious Diseases (HUG) and Vice-Dean in charge of humanitarian and international medicine (UNIGE).
