Article 1: Objet

¹ Dans la mesure de ses ressources disponibles, le « Centre Maurice Chalumeau en sciences des sexualités » octroie des subsides destinés à permettre la participation à un programme de formation continue universitaire dans le domaine des sexualités.
² Le montant annuel que le Centre alloue pour la totalité des subsides qu’il octroie pour frais d’inscription à une formation continue universitaire ne peut excéder en principe CHF 15'000.-

Article 2: Conditions

L’octroi d’un subside pour participation à une formation continue est soumis aux conditions suivantes:

a.  La formation continue doit être dispensée par l’Université de Genève ou une autre haute école genevoise;
b. La formation doit spécifiquement porter sur les sexualités et adopter une perspective interdisciplinaire;
c.  La candidate ou le candidat doit avoir été admis-e à la formation ;
d. Si la candidate ou le candidat réside dans le Canton de Genève, elle ou il doit avoir sollicité auprès des autorités compétentes un Chèque Formation (http://www.ge.ch/caf/); s’il-elle peut en bénéficier, le Centre ne peut intervenir que dans le cadre d’un éventuel subside complémentaire;
e. La participation à une formation continue doit en principe être financée par l’employeur, le Centre Maurice Chalumeau en sciences des sexualités ne pouvant être sollicité qu’à titre subsidiaire;

f. La participation financière du Centre aux frais d’inscription est proportionnelle au revenu du-de la candidat-e, selon les barèmes suivants : en cas de salaire mensuel brut supérieur à 7'000 CHF, la participation financière du Centre ne peut dépasser la moitié du coût des frais d’inscription ; en cas de salaire mensuel brut supérieur à 10'000 CHF, le Centre ne peut entrer en matière sur l’octroi d’un subside.

g. En cas de changement de situation financière intervenu après la décision d’octroi d’un subside par le Centre, la candidate ou le candidat est tenu-e d’informer ce dernier au plus vite de toute augmentation de revenu ; le montant du subside sera alors revu selon le barème défini au point f. et le remboursement du trop-perçu sera exigé.

h.  Le subside octroyé est versé directement au compte de la formation continue.

Article 3: Modalités

¹ Les demandes de subside pour participation à une formation continue doivent être déposées, par voie électronique, au plus tard un mois avant le début de la formation.
² Le dossier doit comporter les pièces suivantes :

a.    Formulaire «Subside pour participation à une formation continue» dûment complété;
b.    Lettre de motivation;
c.    CV;
d.    Attestation d’admission à la formation continue;
e.  Attestation de l’employeur indiquant le montant de sa participation à l’inscription ou sa non-participation; dans le cas où l’employeur n’est pas informé de cette inscription, la candidate ou le candidat peut attester elle-même/lui-même sa situation en expliquant le contexte professionnel qui la motive;
f.    Justificatifs des revenus de la candidate ou du candidat, ainsi que des autres financements éventuellement reçus (trois dernières fiches de salaire, dernier avis d’imposition, lettre de décision pour demande de bourse (ex. Service de bourses et prêts, demande de Chèque annuel de Formation- CAF);

³ Les dossiers incomplets ne seront pas pris en considération.

Article 4: Décision

¹ L’examen des requêtes et l’éventuel octroi d’un subside pour participation à une formation continue sont du ressort de la Commission scientifique du Centre Maurice Chalumeau en sciences des sexualités, laquelle statue au cas par cas en fonction des dossiers soumis et décide de la somme allouée.
² Les subventions sont accordées en fonction des fonds disponibles et sur une base comparative des situations individuelles des candidates et candidats. La recevabilité d’une requête n’implique pas son acceptation.
³ La Commission scientifique notifie par écrit à la candidate ou au candidat la décision au plus tard deux mois après le dépôt de la requête. Ce délai s’applique également aux décisions de non-entrée en matière.

Article 5: Effets juridiques de l’octroi

¹ Après acceptation totale ou partielle d’une requête de subside pour participation à une formation continue (octroi), la candidate ou candidat est obligé à participer à l’intégralité de la formation continue. En cas de non-respect de cette obligation, la Commission scientifique du Centre se réserve le droit de prononcer l’annulation du subside et d’exiger le remboursement total ou partiel des montants versés auprès de la formation continue.
² Les décisions de la Commission scientifique sont sans appel. Le fait de soumettre une requête implique l’acceptation du présent règlement.

 Article 1: Purpose

1 Within the limits of its available resources, the Maurice Chalumeau Centre for Sexual Sciences awards grants for participation in a university continuing education program in the field of sexuality.

2 The total annual amount allocated by the Centre for grants for registration fees for university continuing education may not exceed CHF 15,000.

 

Article 2: Conditions

The award of a grant for participation in continuing education is subject to the following conditions:

a. The continuing education program must be provided by the University of Geneva or another Geneva university;

b. The program must specifically address sexualities and adopt an interdisciplinary perspective;

c. The candidate must have been admitted to the program;

d. If the candidate lives in the Canton of Geneva, they must have applied to the competent authority for a Chèque Formation (http://www.ge.ch/caf/); if he or she is eligible, the Centre can only intervene within the framework of a possible complementary subsidy;
e. Participation in continuing education must in principle be financed by the employer; the Maurice Chalumeau Centre for Sexual Sciences may only be called upon in a subsidiary capacity;
f. The Centre's financial contribution to the registration fees is proportional to the candidate's income, according to the following scales: in the case of a gross monthly salary of more than CHF 7,000, the Centre's financial contribution may not exceed half the cost of the registration fees; in the case of a gross monthly salary of more than CHF 10,000, the Centre may not decide to grant a subsidy.
g. In the event of a change in financial situation after the decision to grant a subsidy has been taken by the Centre, the candidate must inform the Centre as soon as possible of any increase in income; the amount of the subsidy will then be reviewed in accordance with the scale defined in point f. and any overpayment will be reimbursed.
h.  The subsidy granted is paid directly into the continuing education account.

e. In principle, participation in continuing education must be financed by the employer; the Maurice Chalumeau Centre for Sexual Sciences can only be called upon in a subsidiary capacity;

f. The grant awarded shall be paid directly into the continuing education account.

 

Article 3: Terms and conditions

1 Applications for grants for participation in continuing education must be submitted electronically at least one month before the start of the course.

2 The application must include the following documents:

a. A duly completed "Subsidy for participation in continuing education" form;

b. Letter of motivation;

c. CV;

d. Admission attestation in continuing education;

e. Certificate from the employer indicating the amount they are paying towards registration, or their non-participation; if the employer is not informed of registration, the candidate may report their situation themselves by explaining the professional context that motivates them;

f. Proof of the candidate's income and any other funding received (last three salary slips, last tax assessment,  letter of decision for grant application (e.g. "Service des bourses et prêts", application for "Chèque annuel de Formation - CAF");

3 Incomplete applications will not be considered.

 

Article 4: Decision

1 The Scientific Committee of the Maurice Chalumeau Centre for Sexual Sciences will examine the applications and decide on the grant for participation in continuing education on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the applications submitted, and will decide on the amount to be awarded.

2 Grants are awarded according to the funds available and on the basis of a comparison of the individual situations of the candidates. The admissibility of an application does not imply its acceptance.

3 The Scientific Committee shall notify the applicant in writing of its decision no later than two months after the application has been submitted. This deadline also applies to decisions not to proceed with applications.

 

Article 5: Legal effects of the award

1 Once an application for a subsidy for participation in continuing education has been accepted in full or in part (awarded), the applicant is obliged to participate in the entire continuing education program. In the event of non-compliance with this obligation, the Centre's Scientific Committee reserves the right to cancel the subsidy and to demand full or partial reimbursement of the amounts paid to the continuing education institution.

2 The decisions of the Scientific Committee are final. Submission of a request implies acceptance of these regulations.
