I AM CHANCE - Documentary Screening

The Children's Rights Academy at the Center for Children’s Rights Studies of the University of Geneva is excited to invite you to a screening of the multi-award-winning documentary, "I am Chance." On 17 May 2023 at the Auditorium A2, Maison de la Paix, Chemin Eugène Rigot 2. This powerful film highlights the realities faced by street children in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the director, Merc-Henri Wajenberg, Dr. Christelle Molima from the CIDE, representatives from the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, and the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women.

This event is co-organized with the Geneva Human Rights Platform, the Permanent Mission of Belgium to the UN in Geneva, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Defence for Children International, Dynamo International, and the Consortium of Street Children.
