Francesca graduated from a BSc and MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2022. She did her master thesis in finite element modelling for catheter tracking in thrombectomy procedures as part of INSIST Project, at Politecnico di Milano with Prof. Francesco Migliavacca.

She joined the Department of Computer Science at University of Geneva in 2022 to start her PhD in numerical modelling of platelet adhesion and aggregation as part of the E - 3D PLTS project for the development of a new 3D-aggregometer.
