The idea of this workshop is that we co-create something, based on who we are, who we want to be, our talents, our hopes. Something that unites us.
Content/ Autonomy
The goal of the workshop is that, as a group, you develop the artistic, technical, administrative and communicational skills that allow you to carry the whole artistic project together: sound creation / choreographies / writing / directing / scenography / communication / production / acting / dancing / logistics… and so many other things.
From early on in the process, my intention is to leave you one-hour per session without my physical presence during which you can develop this autonomy through trial and error, be it through games, exercises, discussion, rehearsal, scene improvements, or anything else we decide together.
The first three weeks of the workshop will continue to take place around i-Obsolete, the play created over the course of the Autumn semester which will be presented from the 17th to the 19th of march 2023, with the intention of integrating into the show as best we can anyone who wants to take part.
After the 19th of March, we’ll decide together on a shared direction for the rest of the semester.
Objectives and skills
Joining the English language theatre group will give you the opportunity, through an inclusive creative process, to discover a wide range of theatrical traditions and explore a variety of different forms of expression involving dance, theatre, music, and other scenic arts.
