Popularizing science on digital media
Descriptive
One of the keys to getting young researchers 'seen' and 'read' is to make their research accessible to as wide an audience as possible. And that means popularising their work. And effective popularisation is something you have to learn. Based on your own CV or summary of an article, this module guides you through all the stages of popularisation. We offer 4 workshops that can be taken separately:
- An introduction to software for creating visual content (in English)
- The construction of an illustration and an introduction to the basics of visualisation on social media (in English)
- Storytelling and storyboarding science (in English)
- Rewriting your text and formatting it for digital media (in French)
Organisation
Participants will work on one of their own productions (their CV or a research summary) which they will revise and complete (text, visuals, narration) throughout the workshops they have chosen.
