Doctoral program in Art History

The doctoral program in Art History, organised by the Universities of Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne and Neuchâtel, aims to bring together doctoral students whose theses cover all periods of the discipline. It is conceived as a common space for the exchange of ideas, preparation for professional life and methodological reflection, but also as a meeting place for members of the partner universities. By encouraging mobility between universities in Switzerland and abroad, the doctoral programme in Art History offers structured teaching in the field of post-graduate studies in close collaboration between the member institutes.
