Laurence Boisson de Chazournes was Legal adviser to the Neutral Expert on the Baglihar Hydroelectric Plant on the Indus River.

Laurence Boisson de Chazournes is a Counsel before the International Court of Justice. She was Counsel for Argentina in the case concerning the Pulp Mills on the River Uruguay and for Chile in  the Dispute over the Status and Use of the Waters of the Silala before the International Court of Justice. In the two cases, Mara Tignino joined her as a member of the legal team.
