World Water Week – Water Cooperation. Building Partnerships
3-4 September 2013 – Mara Tignino participates in the World Water Week in Stockholm.
Several events are planned to represent the Swiss Water Expertise at the World Water Week held in Stockholm between the 1st and 6 September 2013. The Platform for International Water Law is a member of the Swiss Water Partnership (SWP) and regularly participates in its meetings held in Switzerland.
A Swiss stand highlights every day a different member of the Swiss Water Partnership during the World Water Week:
1) Sunday 1 September: Waterlex: Legal Creativity: Opportunities for Water Challenges
2) Monday 2 September: EAWAG: Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology
3) Tuesday 3 September: Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, CSD Engineers, and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation
4) Wednesday 4 September: Business Competence & Start Up Support in Water and Sanitation
5) Thursday 5 September: Global Institute for Water Environment and Health and World Vision: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for better child health
6) Friday 6 September: Swiss Water Partnership: Building cross sector dialogue and cooperation
The Association for International Water Law (AIDA) in partnership with UNESCO also organises a side-event on land tenure rights and water management.
