Valérie Laure Benabou is a professor at the University of Paris-Saclay/UVSQ. She teaches intellectual property law, European law and various branches of digital law in French and English.

She conducts research in these fields and participates in numerous French, European and international networks. She regularly acts as an expert for public institutions (Conseil d'Etat, National Assembly, European Parliament, WIPO) and is in charge of working groups or drafting studies (Conseil Supérieur de la Propriété Litéraire et Artistique, ARCOM, Centre National de la Musique).
