Juan is a media artist and interaction designer living and working in Geneva, Switzerland. He graduated with honours from the Haute école d’art et de design – Genève (HEAD – Geneva / HES-SO) and is currently a PhD candidate in Design with the practice based thesis Re-decentralize design: Tools for a new spatial design practice, dwelling with the paradoxes within the discourses of decentralisation as guiding principle for design projects and the speculative uses of Peer-to-peer technologies in urbanism and spatial design.

He organizes workshops on critical technologies, curates panels on contemporary publishing practices and conceives interactive installations with programing tools he develops. He is the co-founder of Station of Commons collective.
