General delegate of SCAM (Société Civile des Auteurs Multimédia) and SACD (Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques) in Belgium
Since 1988 Frédéric Young has been an expert, then a member, of the Conseil Supérieur de l'Audiovisuel of the French Community of Belgium.
From 1991 to 1996 he was Secretary General of the Association des Scénaristes de l'Audiovisuel (ASA) and member of the Conseil Supérieur du Livre de la Communauté française de Belgique. From 1994 to 2001 he was founder and Secretary General of PRO SPERE, Federation of professional associations of audiovisual creation and production, where since 2004 he is again on the Board of Directors. Frédéric Young is founder and director of AUVIBEL, a private copy right management company, founder and director of REPROBEL, a reprography right management company.
Since 2004, he has also been a director of the SACD and the CFC (Centre Français d'Exploitation du Droit de Copie), where he is president of the Collège Authors. As an author, Frédéric Young participated in the creation of the first private radio station in Brussels (University Campus Radio) in 1978.
He has also been an author, adapter, director and producer of radio dramas. Today he is the General Delegate of the SACD and the SCAM Belgium.
