I am a PhD student in Environmental Biogeochemistry and Ecotoxicology in the Department F.-A Forel, for environmental and aquatic sciences at the Faculty of Science, University of Geneva. I finished my second master degree in 2016 at the University of Porto (Portugal). Since then, I worked on a research grant at CIIMAR institute from University of Porto (Portugal) where I could work with the biogeochemical nitrogen cycle and the effect of different anthropogenic pollutants (PAHs and heavy metals) on natural communities. Currently, I am doing a PhD in Environment Science where my research is focused on the interaction of mercury species with phytoplankton in freshwater systems.
