Goal

This introduction to the cognitive psychology of aging presents different specific theories to the aging of the individual and pays particular attention to general trends of changes in cognitive functioning related to age.

Description

The course will address the problem of aging in relation to the following dimensions: demography, treatment resources, attention, memory and executive functions. The methodologies specific to their study will be discussed in relation to different theories, as well to particular issues adressed to clinical questions and applications on cognitive aging.
