Collaborations

Gaze Processing and ASD

The Unité de psychologie clinique des situations de handicap (UPCSH) is headed by Maude Schneider and is part of the clinical psychology orientation, Section of Psychology, FPSE. The Unit conducts research and offers courses in the field of disability situations.

The ESCLab collaborates with Prof. Maude Schneider on the domain of gaze processing in individuals with autism spectrum disorder, using eye-tracking techniques.

Hyperscanning EEG in Social Neuroscience

The Precision Psychiatry & Social Physiology Team is a research team at the University of Montreal led by Prof. Guillaume Dumas. The team conducts research in the fields of computational psychiatry, precision medicine, and the interface between social neuroscience and artificial intelligence.

The ESCLab collaborates with Prof. Guillaume Dumas in the use of hyperscanning EEG, a technology that allows the simultaneous measurement of brain activity of two individuals during a social interaction, focusing on the interaction between context and gaze.

EEG Toolbox for linear modeling to lateralised ERPs

Dr. Cyril Pernet is a researcher at the University of Edinburgh, UK, and is in charge of functional MRI at the Edinburgh Imaging Facility. His research focuses on the methodological development and applications of clinical neuroimaging.

The ESCLab collaborates with Dr. Cyril Pernet in adapting an EEG Toolbox to perform analyses using linear models focused on lateralized Event-Related Potentials (ERP).

A Network of Research Groups

The Geneva University Neurocenter is a multidisciplinary center that brings together more than 60 research groups affiliated with various departments of the University of Geneva and the University Hospitals of Geneva. The members of the Neurocenter conduct cutting-edge research in various areas of neuroscience, relating to both normal and pathological brain behaviors, in humans (adults and children) as well as in animals. The Neurocenter also coordinates university teaching programs in neurobiology and cognitive sciences.

The ESCLab is part of this network, notably by providing courses for the Interdisciplinary Master's in Neuroscience.
