Freda Ménétré obtained her Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Lausanne in 2014, followed by her Master's degree in psychology in Geneva in 2017, in Clinical and Cognitive orientations. Following this, she completed a year's practical training in neuropsychology at the Service universitaire de psychiatrie de l'âge avancé (SUPAA) at the Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV).
Back in the academic world, Freda Ménétré became a research assistant in 2018 as coordinator of a large-scale behavioural study using electroencephalography on the executive functions of children at risk of developing an eating disorder.
She then began her doctorate in psychology in 2021 and became a teaching and research assistant to Dr Roland Maurer, assisting with the teaching of the 'TP: Méthode expérimentale' course. In 2023, she joined the ESCLab, continuing her assistantship for the course and her doctoral thesis.
Freda Ménétré is currently working on two studies as part of her PhD entitled "Egocentric and allocentric reference frames: electrophysiological correlates in the cognitive map and changes in pathological ageing":
