 PRESENTATION

After a career as elementary school teacher, then as in-service teacher educator, Katia Lehraus came back to academic work as assistant. She is now PhD lecturer for pre-service teachers. Her research topics concern teacher education as well as teaching and learning processes in school contexts.

On the teaching facet she is interested in cooperative structures designed to foster the quality of peer interactions. On the learning facet, she is concerned by links between interactive dynamics and learning processes. In her latest studies she explores the potential of mindfulness for teachers’ professional well-being as well as for students’ cognitive and socio-emotional self-regulation.
