PRÉSENTATION

David Piot finished his Phd at University of Teacher Education (Lausanne) and the University of Geneva under the supervision of Nicolas Perrin and Emmanuel Sander. He is also a primary school teacher in Yverdon-les-Bains (Vaud).

In his research, he is interested in learning in the broadest sense of the term, and more specifically in abstraction and concretization processes. His work aims to reveal how these processes take place and understand how they evolve over time. He is also interested in the role of analogy in these processes. From a methodological point of view, David Piot intervenes in the first and third person in order to analyze the activity and inform these processes throughout learning.

Affiliated to the E-Learning Support Centre of the University of Teacher Education (Lausanne), David Piot also has a particular interest in the design and hybridization teacher training.
