Mon activité professionnelle est divisée entre deux emplois au sein de l’Université de Genève. En premier lieu, j’occupe un poste d’assistant de recherche, doctorant au sein du laboratoire de Neuropsycholinguistique (Faculté de Psychologie et des Sciences de l’Education). Dans le cadre de mon travail de thèse, je tente de comprendre quels sont les mécanismes responsables du traitement de l’interférence en production du langage sur le plan comportemental et cérébral.
Je suis également assistant de recherche clinique, rattaché au laboratoire de cartographie cérébrale (Unité d’EEG et d’investigation de l’épilepsie, Département des Neurosciences clinique, Service de Neurologie des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève). Mes fonctions consistent à apporter une quantification de la valeur prédictive des examens paracliniques dans le diagnostic d’une première crise d’épilepsie.
Half of my working time is dedicated to the realization of a PhD thesis in cognitive psychology at the Neuropsycholinguistic lab (Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Geneva). My thesis aims at understanding how interference in language production affects behavior as well as brain functioning.
The rest of the time, I work as a research assistant in the EEG and Epilepsy unit of the University Hospital in Geneva (Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva). Concretely, I try to quantify the predictive value of paraclinical exams for the diagnosis of first epileptic seizures.
