Field campaign in Armenia under the project European FP7 EcoArm2ERA
A Master MUSE student, Valérie Parietti, is back from a field trip in Armenia! She collected water, sediments and periphyton (communities of microorganisms living on substrata). The goal of her study is to assess the resilience of a river contaminated with mining wastes. Prof. V. Slaveykova et Dr S. Le Faucheur (Aquatic Biogeochemistry and Ecotoxicology group), in collaboration with Dr N. Ray (SPACE-GRID group) as well as Dr L. Sahakyan and Dr S. Asmaryan from the Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies, National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia are supervising her work. That collaboration has been established in the frame of the European project FP7 EcoArm2ERA
