Prehistoric archaeology
Research issues primarily focus on Late European Prehistory –Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age. Regional prehistory is also a privileged study issue, including investigations made notably in dry-land settlements and lake-dwellings in Western Switzerland and the adjacent regions.
Third millennium Europe is of particular interest: studies of artefact assemblages, bone collections, spatial analysis, settlements and absolute dating. These analyses aim at approaching the modalities of establishment of the Bell Beaker, a major component of the European Copper Age.
