Research areas and activities
Lionel Pernet is archaeologist and specialist of the Iron age and the Roman period. He completed a doctorate in Archaeology at the Universities of Lausanne and Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne. He has worked at the National Museum Zurich, in Montpellier directing the archaeological site and Museum « Lattara » (2009-2015) and is Director of the Musée Cantonal d’archéologie et d’histoire in Lausanne since 2015. His interests and research also include the history of museum collections and anthropological perspectives on material culture.
