This CAS provides the required technological and theoretical knowledge in networking and IoT related standards for the creation of efficient IoT solutions, adapted to the needs of the target applications.

Objectives

  • Acquire a strategic view of the IoT underlying technologies and standards
  • Acquire fundamental knowledge on issues related to the IoT systems and technologies
  • Encourage the pooling of experience and knowledge between peers and with stakeholders to develop innovative approaches
  • Build a professional network in the area

 

Audience

Chief technology officer, member of the direction or manager in charge of defining the technological strategy of their company, civil servant in charge of smart cities planning, deployment and maintenance, director of information systems, project manager with IoT, research and innovation manager, business and production manager, engineer with several years of experience

Learning outcomes

At the end of the programme participants will have gained capacilities and knowledge:

  • Identify critical issues and solutions related to the IOT strategy design and implementation
  • Acquire fundamental knowledge on all issues related to IOT networks and standards
  • Know first-hand the technologies supporting IOT
  • Adjust one's own professional practice with insights from the programme

Admission criteria

  • At least Bachelor’s or master’s degree;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Ability to speak and write in English.
