Méghane Tossonian is a Research Associate at the Economics, Languages and Education Research Group (ELF) within the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI) at the University of Geneva.
She holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Clermont Auvergne University. Her research adopts a socio-cognitive approach to learning processes, with a particular focus on language learning.
Drawing on both academic and non-academic experience in various associations and non-profit organizations, she has developed a strong interest in multiculturalism, language acquisition, and public policy issues related to socio-professional integration and language proficiency.
Since September 2025, she has been a member of the FTI, where she contributes to the RAMAL project (Representations, Attitudes and Motivations in Language Learning).
