Dongpeng PAN

Dongpeng has been professionally active as a conference interpreter (EN-ZH) since 2015. He is also a Research Assistant and PhD student at the Interpreting Department of FTI. His primary research delves into the processing of visual input during simultaneous interpreting. He is keen on understanding how the interplay between visual cues and auditory verbal information influences the attentional resource distribution and cognitive load of simultaneous interpreters. In various research projects he has been involved in, Dongpeng has also investigated how different audio-visual conditions affect the fatigue and cognitive load in conference interpreting.
