Maura joined the GAP-Climate group led by Prof. Martin Beniston in 2011. Since then, she has been using the MIT general circulation model for her climate numerical experiments.
In 2013, she began collaborating with Prof. Jérôme Kasparian, co-supervising the Master’s student Nadège Marchiando, and later the PhD student Debbie Eeltink (2015–2019), on analogies between ocean waves and laser filamentation. She joined the GAP-Nonlinearity and Climate group in 2017.
