Together with our colleagues Nicolas Brunner, Rob Thew, Hugo Zbinden, and Mikael Afzelius, all from the Department of Applied Physics, we have been awarded funding from the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), through the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), to continue our cutting edge research into quantum communication and quantum technologies at the University of Geneva.
The Quantum Transitional Measures Call was a highly competitive funding call aimed to ensure that group leaders who conduct cutting-edge, high-impact research are able to continue their projects after the end of Switzerland's affiliation with the Horizon programme.
