Our recent demonstration of local and scalable detection of genuine multipartite single-photon path entanglement has been published in Quantum. We construct a scalable entanglement witness that can be implemented with local measurements only, and experimentally demonstrate its applicability on an 8-partite single-photon path-entangled state.

Our results from recent experiments on the limits of integrating quantum key distribution (QKD) into existing classical networks have been published in Applied Physics Letters! QKD has already become commercially available recently, however, it is still a challenge to integrate QKD into existing classical networks due to noise introduced by the other signals. In our article we studied how a state-of-the art QKD system can be combined into an existing network.

The first entangled two-photon paper from our group is out! In this paper, we study the influence of different degrees of entanglement freedom on the entangled two-photon absorption-induced fluorescence rate of Rhodamine 6G, allowing nonlinear microscopy to be performed in a more efficient way.

There aren’t many researchers who’ve chosen a lateral point of entry into their field. If you start an academic career later in life, you often have to overcome very specific hurdles. But your previous experience can also help you to find your place in the world of academia.
