Graduate Conference
Past Editions
The Department of Political Science & International Relations of the University of Geneva proudly hosts the Geneva Graduate Conference in Political Philosophy organized within the framework of the Geneva Colloquium in Political Theory (GECOPOL).
The first edition of the GECOPOL_Graduate has taken place on the 13th and 14th of February 2020 in UniMail, University of Geneva. Keynote speakers were Francis Cheneval (Universität Zürich) and Fabienne Peter (University of Warwick).
The second edition has taken place on the 1st and 2nd of February 2021 on Zoom. Keynote speakers were Ralf Bader (Université de Fribourg) and Lea Ypi (London School of Economics and Political Science).
For the third edition, which has taken place on the 17th and 18th of February 2022 on Zoom, the GECOPOL_Graduate hosted the keynote talks by Sandrine Baume (Université de Lausanne) and Jason Brennan (Georgetown University).
The fourth edition has taken place on the 16st and 17th of February 2023 in UniMail, University of Geneva. For the keynote talk, The GECOPOL_Graduate hosted Seth Lazar (Australian National University).
For the fifth edition, which has taken place on the 15th and 16th of February 2024 in UniMail, the GECOPOL_Graduate hosted the keynote talks by Nadia Mazouz (ETH Zurich) and Andrea Sangiovanni (King’s College London).
