I am PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant jointly at the Institute for Environmental Sciences, University of Geneva, and at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), The Netherlands. During the academic year 2018-2019, I am visiting researcher at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Boulder, CO.
Within my PhD research, I explore the use of the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) in Impacts, Adaptation, and Vulnerability (IAV) studies. I particularly focus on (1) methods to develop local and sectoral extension of the SSPs (2) the combinations of SSPs with RCPs to assess future climate risks - mainly heat risks, and (3) the future of urbanization under the SSPs.
I hold a BSc in Biology & Ecology from the University of Lyon (France) and the University of Leicester (UK), and a MSc in Environmental Sciences with a Specialization in Climatology from the University of Geneva (Switzerland). I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Geomatics, from the University of Geneva.
