Olivier Scaillet elected Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics
GFRI's Managing Director, Prof. Olivier Scaillet, has been elected to Fellowship in the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS).
The IMS is an international professional and scholarly society devoted to the development, dissemination, and application of statistics and probability.
The prestigious IMS Fellowship has been honouring for 85 years the outstanding research and professional contributions of the IMS' members. Each Fellow demonstrated distinction in research in statistics or probability or has demonstrated leadership that has profoundly influenced the field.
Prof. Scaillet was elected as fellow for his "contributions to copula modelling, to tests of independence, goodness-of-fit testing, weak convergence tools for such inference, and to quantitative finance and insurance."
