COVID-19 & Climate Roundtable
27 April 2021 | 13:30 pm | Online
The Geneva School of Economics and Management and the Junior Entreprise Genève will organize a Roundtable on "COVID-19 & Climate" on Tuesday 27 April. Held in collaboration with Ernst & Young (EY), the event will take place online, with live streaming beginning at 13:30.
The roundtable will focus on COVID-19’s impact on climate change with the following question: "How can we turn the post-pandemic recovery into a golden opportunity to build a more sustainable future?”. The debate will bring together Bachelor students in Economics and Management, GSEM professors Michele Pellizzari and Julien Daubanes, and EY Sector Leader Benjamin Teufel.
Through the questions asked to the invited students, the experts will examine opportunities presented by the pandemic to mitigate climate change through the following three aspects: transport, food, and labor.
The roundtable will be interactive with questions for the audience during the discussion, as well as a Q&A session at the end. The event will be held in English.
