Aleksey Tetenov joins the GSEM
Mr. Aleksey Tetenov joins the University of Geneva as Full Professor at the Geneva Schools of Economics and Management – GSEM on 5 March 2019.
Aleksey Tetenov obtained his Ph.D. in Economics at Northwestern University (USA) in 2008. Following his doctoral studies, he was Assistant Professor in Economics at Collegio Carlo Alberto (Turin, Italy) and at the University of Bristol (UK), where he also directed the Graduate Diploma program.
Prof. Tetenov’s research combines economic theory, econometrics, and statistics. It is focused on improving how we conduct randomized experiments, and how we effectively use their results in policy decisions. His publications have appeared in top journals, including Econometrica, Journal of Econometrics, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Within the GSEM, Prof. Tetenov joins the Institute of Economics and Econometrics. He will be teaching econometrics at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
