International prize for Pedagogical Innovation awarded to Prof. Bergadaà for the course "Responsible Projects"
The course "Projets responsables", created in 2012 by Professor Bergadaà, has been praised and recognized for its pedagogical innovation by the Conférence internationale des Dirigeants des institutions d’Enseignement supérieur et de recherche de Gestion d’Expression Française (CIDEGEF), the Fondation nationale pour l’enseignement de la gestion des entreprises (FNEGE) and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
Prof. Bergadaà will receive the 2019 Grand Prize for Pedagogical Innovation from these institutions on October 16 in Paris. This course had previously been a finalist in the international Reimagine Education competition in London on 11 December 2019 and selected by Swissuniversities in 2019 as well.
This year, the teaching becomes open to all students; GSEM students will be joined by fellows from other schools of the University of Geneva.
The objective of this Bachelor's course is to create a micro-business as a team, and develop specific entrepreneurial skills in order to raise funds for a humanitarian cause dedicated to education in third world countries.
