Five Bachelor students selected for the third edition of the IEE Honors Program

The Institute of Economics and Econometrics launched the third edition of their Honors Program for Bachelor students enrolled in GSEM courses. This innovative program was launched in the 2019/2020 academic year to enhance students’ learning experience, value talent and research, and assist students to gain confidence in their abilities to pursue an academic career.

The 2021/2022 group is made up of Bachelor students in International Relations Justine Bosset, Anne Pedersen, and Joanna Ruan. They are joined by Bachelor students in Economics and Management Louis Mallet and Ishita Rathi. The participants were selected based on their strong interest in research and their grades in the fields of economics, econometrics, and statistics.

For the duration of the IEE Honors Program, the students share an office at the Uni Mail campus, which encourages their close interaction with faculty and researchers.

Under the supervision of Prof. Frédéric Robert-Nicoud and co-organizer Prof. Giacomo De Giorgi, the program offers a unique and distinctive learning environment and aims to promote student knowledge of academic research by providing undergraduates with the opportunity to conduct academic research in the fields of economics and econometrics and collaborate closely with faculty on current research projects. Students can also attend the IEE weekly research seminars where internationally recognized scholars discuss their latest research.
