Launch of the Entrepreneurship Laboratory, GSEM's Accelerator
The Geneva School of Economics and Management is launching a new Center of Competence to support and promote innovation. The Entrepreneurship Laboratory is a joint initiative between the GSEM and the Science Innovation Hub. It offers a space for entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship projects; and is open to all students, assistants, doctoral students, professors, teaching and administrative staff who have ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit.
This new Center is built around four pilot projects:
Entrepreneurship Desk
allows everyone within the university community to submit an entrepreneurial project and test its potential. This window is already open, contact us to discuss your project.
Acceleration Program
to support innovation projects. This forms part of the Innovation network of the University of Geneva. The Acceleration Program offers support, mentoring, advice, and resources.
Entrepreneurship Workshops
open to GSEM Bachelor students who are motivated to collaborate with researchers to help them evaluate the commercial potential of their business ideas and research results. The Spring 2021 Workshop was launched at the beginning of the semester with around 15 students, and two projects are currently being carried out simultaneously. Please visit the workshop page for more information.
Co-working Space
open to the entire university community to provide a place for exchanges and synergies around entrepreneurship projects. This co-working space will be launched at the beginning of the academic year (September 2021), if health conditions allow.
The Entrepreneurship Laboratory is headed by Nadine Reichenthal, an expert in the field of entrepreneurship, and a dynamic director with many years of experience in supporting start-ups.
